Command list with args?
Didn't someone post a seperated list somewhere that listed all the slash commands showing which commands required certain arguments, and another that was boolean commands?
I could have sworn someone did, but can't seem to find it. I'm just trying to mess around with commands, looking for any un-documented tweaks, such as.... cl_memory_override cl_textureshrink r_gui_cachebuffers_max_unused_frames r_gui_textures_max_unused_frames r_max_sequence_texture_frames |
You mean this sticky http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=982? Might do with some updating, but I have not seen anything newer being posted. See post #20 for parameters.
/cl_textureshrink takes values from 0 (full size) up to 3 I think. I don't recall having looked at the others. |
Ah, it was in that topic! I didn't think it was on the 1st page. Unforunately, that is the outdated list.
Thanks much though. Was going crazy thinking that post didn't exist. :o |
Just for your edification, if you type any key following a slash, then hit the tab key, it will display every possible command that starts with that letter.
For instance /t <tab> will tell you every command that starts with a t In case you really want to play around. ;) |
Well I have known that for ages. But just knowing a command name doesn't help with what arguments are required for it to work, or the amount of arguments that the command will take.

Found this post on the net randomly:
Code:
/attuned_inv_r <0-255> \Dunno how much of it is still usable. |
There is a post on the SOE forum somewhere that has a crap load of commands and their format. I looked for a it a little bit but didn't try to hard.

Mmm. I both have seen that and have it book marked. However, there's really nothing interesting out of those commands. They pretty much include only the commonly known commands.

Ok, if you want uncommon commands, how about:
/r_ft_override_face 1Allows you to switch out all vector fonts during runtime without needing to dig into the XMLs. Bitmap fonts are unaffected. <font name> is the system's font name, not one you might have defined in the XML. Type the following to get back to the fonts defined in the XML: /r_ft_override_face 0You may also need to deactivate "Use small sans serif font" which sometimes gets set automatically by the option above. Other useful font options: /r_ft_contrast # - configure the smooth fonts amount. I think 0.5 is default. There are some more, you know how to find them. Some may crash your game. Useful but you probably know it: /cl_log_input 0/1 - turn input logging offYou likely also know /r_performance # - parameters go from 0 to 7 with 0=Extreme Quality and 7=CustomBut probably not these: /r_suggested_performance_CPUThey are read only and you need to read their values via script (values have identical meaning as the parameters for r_performance above. The suggestions are bad though, I think with a 8800 GTX it suggested very high performance mode. |
