linking to chat
 

I'm not sure if this is a problem because of using ProfitUI or something else. I used to be able to link items from recipe icons into group chat. If I'm using the default ui this still works however since updating with ProfitUI Reborn I can't seem to do it anymore.

I find it very important when discussing crafted items with people who want things made and who need to see the stats on the itmes before I make them.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks for a truly awesome UI too :D

Somehow the recipe links go to the last opened tab instead of the default tab.

For a long time the link did not work for me at all as they where send to a closed window. After a new alignment of tabs normal link now go to my default window, but crafting link still go to a closed window (into a tab I created to drag an accidentally dragged tab back to its old position.).

If you can't see the links try to open a new window and look if the links are waiting for you there.

This isn't a Profit UI issue but a SOE issue. They should add an option like: "Put item links here."

Thanks for the response. I'm following through on your suggestion as I do have multiple chat windows.

I do remember having that happen some weeks back. The item would only link in a different window as you suggest. Now though, I haven't been able to find the items linking in any of them.

My next plan is to start fresh by removing the chat windows and starting again.
