Map Resets
 

My map in game seems to reset every time I log in and out. As in, I turn off certain dots on the map, and next time I log in, they are all back on and where I have explored is now un-explored.

I looked in the faq, and skimmed the first page of posts here, I didn't seem to find an answer. Can anyone help? I like to explore and I like to know where I've been >_<

The PoI dots will always come back. There is no way to save which dots you want displayed. The idea is you can quickly filter them depending on what you are looking for.

As for the black map....I seem to get that in places like Antonica. I don't know how to cure it.

A post from Deathbane27 describing how to have POI classes off by default. This will affect all maps.

I tried it in about 5 different spots where I'm apparently supposed to put it, but I can't seem to get it work. I also see that his post is from January 2007, maybe in all the updates it doesn't work anymore? Does anyone else have confirmation of this recently working? =/
