Weapon Delay on Persona Screen

Weapon delays seem to be off by about 15% on the Persona Screen (both primary and Secondary). Example:
Weapon with 1.5 delay is showing 1.9 normal then with FBSS it shows 1.6

I'm wondering if this is happening for everyone or just me? It's every weapon I can equip. Another example is 6 second delay weapon goes up to 8 seconds... not sure if this is just a typo or my weapons are actually swinging that slow. I have the latest Profit UI via the auto updater as of today.

I saw this on my 80 Ranger though it was quite confusing, at 66% haste with a 1.4 second weapon I get 1.1 (should be .9?), figuring it had to do with diminishing returns... no big deal - but then I logged my 46 Swash (15% haste) and saw it actually shows my weapon delay ABOVE what the base speed of the weapon is.

Anyone know if this is an EQ2 or Profit Reborn bug?

Thanks!

Probably an issue with the game data, not the UI at all. Weapon delay's affected by so many factors that I'd bet the persona window only shows an approximation. The dynamic data probably only considers some of the things that can affect the delay, and the UI can only display the dynamic data the game engine presents to it.

A couple of the values on the persona screen (or bottom bar) are not accurate, that's a game issue (see my known issues list).

You do realize that when you dual wield (i.e. use a weapon in each hand), the game add 33% delay to both weapons (I think I am remembering the correct percentage).

This change was made when the removed DW weapons and made them all one hand. To compensate for the additional damage two 1-hand weapons would do, then slowed them down when you dual weild

Fleshing that out a bit further...

Actual Delay in Use = Base Delay divided by Haste % +1 if single wep

or

Base Delay
__________ = actual delay
(% haste +1 )

again..this is for a single weapon

example... Base Delay of 4.0 and 26% haste. 4/1.26 = 3.1746 ( will be rounded up to 3.2 )

Okay.. duel wield. As explained to me by Windslasher, the formula was arrived at when all the old DW weps were made 1H'ers and all the 1H'ers were made DW'able. Rather than cut all the 1h'er damages down an across the board delay was imposed on DW'ers. So.....

For Duel Wield the formula is Base Delay of each hand x 1.33 divided by Haste% + 1 .

or

(base delay x 1.33)
_______________ = actual delay
( haste % + 1 )

Take the same 4 sec delay wep as above and the same Haste.. add another in the other hand and each wep would be
4 x 1.33 = 5.32 / 1.26 = 4.22222 ( rounded to 4.2 )

Thanks for the info. Does this calculate per hand using the same 33% burden rate?

In other words a main hand 4 sec dly and an off hand 5 sec dly wep would use the calculation you posted for each hand and impose a 33% penalty on both weps?

From what i was told.. each wep incurs a 33% slow in DW mode, so your 4 sec would be 5.32 and your 5 sec would be 6.65.

Thanks a lot for your replies, this truly helps out a lot.
