Hehe, happy birthday my friend. :nana:

Hahaha thanks. It's not everyday a young chap like myself turns 18. :D

As far as the ankle is concerned, it was my first time using crutches. Using those things to get out of the hospital was a pain in the bum. People were laughing at me because the display was hilarious. I laughed too so all is good.

They were probably laughing at you because you were using them wrong (they would normally be a pain in the underarm/armpit, not the bum ;))! :p

What a coincidence...we're ankle buddies! I sprained my ankle (severely -- after all, if you're going to do it, do it right! LOL) last Tuesday, and I was also a crutch n00blet. I nearly fell down 3 times right away, and actually succeeded once. Of course, I bet the Vicodin didn't help my balance much. :p Thankfully I can hobble around without them most of the time here at home, but going out in public or doing any decent chores around the house requires at least one.

We can be gimpy together! :nana: (Now I know that guy in West Freeport really -IS- talking to me...)

lol gimpy. Yeah, I did it doing playing lacrosse :(. I love that game too. It was pretty bad and in public I use both w/o splint.

lol ShadowProwler420. You...you...too funny.
