Adjusting Profit UI
 

Greetings one and all!
I am fairly new to custom UIs, and have really fallen in love with Profit UI for the healing assistance it gives me in groups and in raids. Information is key to winning fights for healers and the information flow in Profit is smooth and quick, but not too quick. :)
I would like to know, and yes, I REALLY did look through the forums for an answer . . . I would like to know if the INV window -- the one with the small picture of me, my gear, the slots my gear goes in, and the appearance tab -- can be made scaleable, please? I am getting old and really need to be able to see stuff at more of a glance than I am now.
I realize also that I am not the most techno-literate person in the world, so . ..by scaleable, I mean when you move the mouse onto the corner of the window you get a little two-headed diagonal arrow and you can make the window larger and smaller.

You are not alone, the tiny icons for the inventory has been the reason not to install profit UI again. I too would love to have them scaleable.

You can have both.

Install ProfitUI.

Locate the "Inventory" file in your EQ2 Directory within the "UI\ProfitUI" folder. I think name is eq2_inventory_inventory.xml. Rename it, for example to eq2_inventory_inventory.xml.profit.

Download a different inventory which pleases you from here: http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/cat103.html

Extract the new eq2_inventory_inventory.xml in the ProfitUI Folder.

Done.

This works with most interface pieces :)

Or you can just delete eq2ui_inventry_inventery.xml and it will use the Default EQ2 one.

Remember, if you use the Auto-Updater, you will need to set it to ignore this file so it doesn't download the profit version again.

/suggests not to use DrumsUI inventory :p

Actually my UI is a mixed bag between Profit and Drumstix42 now. Very nice that way :D
