The Problem of Chat in Chinese
 

I am a Player of China...I and my friend play EQ2 in US server,but we can't chat well...can u see any patch or information about this..chat in other language... :(

who can help me~~~

nothing has been said about cross language chatting in eq2. The laungages are seperated on diff. servers.

ebenz, I don't think you've told us what the problem is. You say you can't chat well. Does the problem have to do with fonts? Are you having trouble getting the cross-server tells to work? What's the problem?

Trying to speak a secondary language would be my guess as to the problem.

They want to chat in their native language, which is easier for them.

It looks like he wants a realtime translator...

I have been playing eq2 with a woman from Japan and she said that her language converter was not working either now, so she is having to chat in English, whilst her English is not very good it's a damn sight better than my Japanese, So comunication is rather hard to say the least but we manage by watching each others on screen actions and animated emotes etc so gameplay is still good....... Anybody else had / have same problem and is there a way around it?

you could run a chinese chat room and change windows to chat :)

Woot lol imagine a chinese chat window with this stuff in 你们能看见我打的这些字吗 I wouldnt know what window was chat and what one was actualy my spell icon's hotbar ! :D

No, he's talking about when he types he cant display english text when he wants to. He obviously has some command of the english language. I think what He is trying to express is that He'd like to be able to switch.
