Still not working..

Well it should be working, but it just doesnt.

My EQ2.ini:

cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP
cl_ui_subdir UI/

The game starts, but there are still crap sony maps..

I just tried this

Quote:

yes, just delete your eq2.ini file. open the updater, if it starts updating when you open it, click the stop button. then go to options and choose ocd as your ui directory and it will set your eq2.ini file up correctly. then just close the options window and then click update button on the updater, let it update and then open eq2 and it will work for you
But it didnt help.. So i figured i could post here :)

Thx for incoming help

I have exactly the same issue. POI's were fine for ages and then after returning to EQ2 from a break I have nothing. Options and UI are correct and have also redownloaded updater etc. Help!!

Replying to the thread creator. The 2nd poster more then likely your problem is different but you can try these suggestions however you'll need to create your own thread for help as I don't want Thesaim's thread being hijacked.

Right click on the icon you use to load eq2. Choose properties. Under the shorcut tab what is the path under "target:"?

Open up the eq2map updater. Click the options button. what is the path under "Everquest 2 Directory:" ?

Do they match? If not update the path in the eq2map updater.

Also some times when you first open the map the POI's will be missing. Simply closing the map and re-opening it will fix it.

Do you have any more UI mods installed?

(deleted the OP's identical cross-post and merged the threads - to the OP: Don't do that please.)
