Get Ready Modders For Logitech G15 Support!
Woot!
COMPATABILITY Logitech G15 Support * EQ2 now supports the Logitech G15 Keyboard's LCD display. * You can enable/disable this option under Options->User Interface->Game Features. * The Default UI ships with five pages of data. o Page 1 is the title page and shows what each of the 4 buttons do when pressed. o Page 2 displays your current ping, packet loss, frame rate and bandwidth usage. o Page 3 displays experience for your adventure level, tradeskill level and achievement points. o Page 4 is a mini persona window showing your stats, health and power. o Page 5 displays the health and power for all members of your group. * The data sent to the LCD window is extremely customizable. * UI modders can display any number of pages with each page showing any of the dynamic data already available to the client. Anyone working with these now or will shortly ready for release? GM9, you HAVE to put this in ProfitUI mate.. Perty Please!?! :) |

If it can be sorted or filtered in some way .... maybe :P

Well maybe for individual spells only? Possibly an overlay could be created and shown on top of the buttons (just for configuration purposes) allowing you to select which hotbar button's resuse timer to add to the display. Or maybe it makes more sense for each user to hardcode it and have the UI load it up based on the character name, so you can do different setups for different characters (like my ingame mail signatures functionality for example).
If I do that, I'd make it an optional ingame window as well. |
If you don't have a G15 keyboard but want to try this out, you can download the Logitech software and use the built-in emulator.

Ah, interesting, thanks Rothgar.
Update: The installer is checking the OS and only runs on XP and Vista. When I feel like decompiling the installer I may try it out, but otherwise no go for me. |

the info you get when you hover over icons
instead of getting that anoyying bubble it would be nice to have it appear on the keyboard screen |

The other tray icon is asking me to plug in the keyboard which I haven't got. I try going into the config and no applications show up under running programs. I use the Razer Tarantula keyboard, and won't likely be investing in a g15, but I'd still like to see what all the hub bub is about. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
Once you start up EQ2 it should become visible in 'Programs' configuration of the Logitech Gamepanel Manager. There you have to choose the display device which should display it. With only one display connected that should be selected automatically though. Works fine for me, have an additional G15 connected though.
