Is there any way to dump all of the broker data into a text file on the host computer?

For example if i search for an item. is all of the item statistics dumped to the eq2 client?

I am looking for an efficient way to retrieve screen shots of items from within eq2. Any help will be appreciated.

Do you want the stats or the screenshot? For the screenshot you know of course that you only need an item link to pop up the examine window, so that would appear to be the easiest solution.

Paste the link, click it, take the screenshot, close the examine window. Rinse and repeat. Easy to automate if you ignore the EULA.

Well, its really hard to compete with other websites if i don't have at least item stats and spell effects.

Manually doing 70k items, um.. no... what else would you suggest?

There is no better suggestion, there is no ingame way to automatically go through 70.000 items.

Regarding the EULA - why not ask SOE if they would have a problem with that. Pasting and clicking an item link is not exactly like unattended game play, so they might allow that. Send Grimwell an email/PM and ask. Or ask your colleagues how they do it, not sure how hard the competition is with them and if they would tell you. ;)
