Profit UI reborn updater connection issue
 

Well, as topic says I have a problem using Profit updater because it doesn't see my internet connection. Yes, I've read your F.A.Q and tried adding that line in 'hosts' file, which didnt help at all. Also I dont use any firewalls and I dont have problems running any programs/games on my computer which require internet connection, except for Profit UI Updater. Are there any tricks to make it work? Because it worked for me before I reinstalled windows and it's weird that now it doesnt.

Since webserver and nameservers are running just fine I can't give you a trick here. You may want to try to reinstall Java.
I'll include some debugging code soon to see at which point it fails to work, but it will take a couple of days since I don't have much time right now...

Was curious about this problem since I'am not the only one who experienced it and couldn't get around it.
