Can't resize Chat window in Horizontal direction
 

I can find and click on the 'move' square, and I can move the chat window and resize it in the vertical direction, but I can't seem to get it to allow me to make it smaller (or larger for that matter) in the horizontal direction. I want to make room for the spinner on the hotbar stack, since I use a 'foreign' set of hotbars that autohide unless engaged, and the spinner sticks out :mad:. If it can't be done, I could make the hotkeys smaller but I'm about at my vision limit now :D.

hmmm maybe there's another window blocking the move or something, I'll keep trying and if I figure out what was happening I'll post it in case others have the same problem.

Perhaps you have a corrupt file somewhere? Either your uisettings.ini or whatever .xml file coincides with the chat window (little help here, gm9 ;))?

Unlikely. Maybe you tried grabbing it in the upper right corner. That won't work, because there is the [x] button. Lower right corner works best.
