We need a command to reload the UI. Why? so you can mod the UI with EQ2 still open, type in /reload_ui or whatever, and see changes immediately!

of you /loadui and then zone (suspecting you didn't CTD) does anything change?

/loadui

Causes crashes when certain actions are taken, but some windows will work fine when using this.

If the window you're testing doesn't work after /loadui, the quickest method I've found is:

/camp
/loadui (folder)
(finish camping)
(log back in)

Edit: /loadui default no longer needed.

i was thinking about seeing if zoning really does load the whole ui agian, but havent researched it yet...

Mook's full function zone mod leads me to believe the answer to your question is no.

Also, if just doing /loadui doesn't cause a crash immediately, zoning after doing /loadui will. /loadui while camping (or just exiting the game and restarting if you're using Mook Login) is still the fastest method.
