stuck like chuck
 

when i try to launch eq2 from the map updater instead of the new eq2 launcher i get this watch looking thing that says station.com and it will not let me log into the game. am i doing something wrong? do i need to select the files for the updater to point to myself, or is that done automatically? can someone please help me? thanks:)

I assume if you launch EQ2 normally with out EQ2Map you get the new Launcher right? It should look like the picture below...

Right click on your EverQuest II icon, it should be a black one like in the picture below. Then choose properties.


Now keep that properties widow open and open up EQ2Map and press the options button until the options window opens. Now make sure the paths are as shown with the arrows...

I can't get the thing to still work Dolby. I pull up the launcher option and change the directory, but when i exit out, it defaults back the same setting.
Please advise.

You need to run the EQ2MAP updater as an administrator.
