its possible to change uis ingame? or btw chars?

my wife hates my ui =/ and want to keep the old IF

You *can* switch between different UI's in game using /loadui.
However, I believe there is still a major bug with this that causes problems, such as (IIRC) journal showing full but no quests shown, player window not showing the correct info, inventory window not showing correctly, among other things. Some of this may have changed, I'm not sure haven't used it in a while. While zoning can fix a few of these, it never worked for me and I had to reboot the game. Best to log out and edit the ini file. One option instead of changing it everytime, make one of each then /copy and paste when switching, but of course you will need to rename one of the files slightly if you're going to have them both on the desktop, imo just add _ at the begining of one and remove that one char once you go to switch. :)

Loadui command appears to be broken again as it crashes the game.

As for the fortunate that it does not crash the game, the erroneous data will correct itself when you zone. (quest journal however, may still not sot show quests correctly).

I wish they would fix this /loadui command again. I use it extensivley (I used to at least) for modding windows. It is a PITA to have to camp out and reload EQ2 everytime I wish to see a small little change I made to window(s).
