Use English UI in Japanese Server
 

Hi, I recently started to play on Sebilis.


I would like to know how I can have default and custom English UI working in the Japanese server. I can't understand Japanese and hope I can have English UI.

I use the following line in my eq2.ini file on the french server:
cl_language English

That gives me english instead of french in most places in my UI when I'm playing on Storms. Give it a try and see if it helps. And if it does, say thank you to Whilhelmina as she's the one who told me about it :)

Is there any chance I can change NPC dialog and quest highlight etc. to be English? I might asking too much...

I found that, using the font in The Jade Project(http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/info4640.html) with language set to English can make most Japanese info visible in English UI, but, the NPC's bubble dialog options are still in boxes... Unfortunately Jade is very long ago....

Anyone else English-speaking in Sebilis can share some tips?
