Hello. I'm interested in making EQ2 playable in 4k resolution. Currently it's unplayable due to lack of UI scaling.
I prefer to use ProfitUI so I started converting it to 4k support. Thought I have some questions:
So far I have adapted only small amount of windows, but it's already much better to play: * Font sizes increased overall * Sell/Buy/Reforge window fixed * Resizable overseer window fixed * Character selection screen fixed * Broker window should be ok as well I've attached two 1:1 crops from 4k screen of the current state. Currently I want to finish overseer window and buy/sell and then go to trade skill. BTW someone knows if it's possible to make UIBuilder preview window render more then 1024x1024? I haven't played in EQ2 for some time, so maybe it's unneeded work and all is done already (don't propose to use draq ui, Profit UI is the best) |
ProfitUI Community Edition is maintained by players who use the software. I would encourage you to finish your modifications and publish them on this website for players to try out.

That is awesome. Could really use the group bar window resized larger or an option to increase the size.

There is a larger Group window available with ProfitUI CE: Large Group Window
It's not double the size of the original, so it won't be as large as the window Kvalme will build, but it is a bit easier to use in the meantime. |
Group window is the one i'm currently working on. It's really bad window, lol :)
For some reason it works fine in UIBuilder and don't work as I want in game. Basically - i'm making it resizable so you can choose size that you need. Finally I did it.  Window can be resized to any size. With small size - names won't fit |
