EQ2 freezes briefly at zone-in
 

Every time I zone into a new zone or instance, the entire game freezes briefly. It's enough of a freeze that it causes me to zone much slower than others. I was able to narrow it down to EQ2 maps as it does not do it once I remove EQ2 maps. Also, it doesn't seem to do it on subsequent zone-ins to zones I've already been to. However, once you close the game, all zones freeze until visited at least once. I tried to use EQ2 maps auto updater by itself WITHOUT DarqUI and DarqUI with EQ2 maps.

I'm running on a brand new gaming laptop (Lenovo Legion). I have ensured that .NET is up-to-date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and maps multiple times. Any ideas?

On the Zoning window down at the bottom-left below the progress bar, what does it say during the freeze?
