A question about UI pieces
 

Greetings all,

I have recently returned after a break of several months and found that the various UI pieces that I was previously using don’t work any more.

I have tried everything I can think of to make them work (some I don’t think are supported anymore). The only things that I can get to work are eq2maps and the default UI. Nothing else that I have tried (individual pieces or complete sets) just won’t show up when I try to implement them. I have followed the instructions that are listed here in order to make them work and still have no luck.

Below is what I have in my eq2.ini file:

cl_ui_skinname newui2
cl_ui_subdir UI/

I know that this type of question is posted here all the time and I am truly sorry to be clogging the forum with this tripe again, but I am just at my wit’s end in trying to get this to work.

You would have to update your ui. They done alot of changes to the ui in the gu58 update

Since I wasn't originally using a complete UI (and the pieces that I used don't seem to be updated any longer) that would be tough to do. Also that wouldn't explain why I can't install a new complete UI now.
