EQ2 Map Updater Problem
 

I downloaded the new updater and installed. When I click on the updater icon nothing happens at all. In addition the place at the bottom of the map where I use to be able to put in map location numbers is now gone, so I can't set wave points by putting in the location number. Please Help!

EQ2 Map Updater Problem
 

When I installed eq2 map updater it was installed to C:\Program Files\EQ2MAP Updater. In this folder is:
EQ2MAP Updater (Internet shortcut),
EQ2MAP_Updater.application
EQ2MAP_Updater.exe
EQ2MAP_Updater.exe.config
EQ2MAP_Updater.exe.manifest
uninst.exe

I just read in the install notes that you should run EQ2MAP_Updater_Setup.exe and this is not in the folder at all. I did a search of all files and folders and it did not find EQ2MAP_Updater_Setup.exe.

I believe that the EQ2MAP_Updater.exe is for the desktop icon. When I click on this nothing at all happens. I do not get the Updater main window.

EQ2MAP-Updater-1.2.4-Setup.exe is the installer.
And yes you should run "EQ2MAP_Updater.exe"
but i have never heard that nothing happends :confused:
Did you try to restart your computer ?

Yes have tried that a few times. Also tired deleting it and downloading again, and nothing still the same problem. I check to make sure I have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and 3.0 and the instructions say you must have 2 or higher so I should be ok there also.

I deleted everything and anything that had to do with eq2 maps and with everquest. Put a fresh copy of the game back on my computer and then tried eq2 map updater again. Still the same effect, I click on the update icon and nothing happens. :(

just type in your chat box your waypoint /wa xxx xxx xxx

(/wa works so you don't have to type /waypoint)
