Utility is not responding.
Well I have disabled, my anti virus and my firewall.
When I run the utility it is fine until I try to update anything and then it starts to lag and is not responding. This is a newer (less than a week) install on windows 10 Pro. Perhaps I am missing a redistributable? Any help would be greatly appriciated. |
The utility targets Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Make sure you have that and please post again with your results.
(If v4 is installed you will have the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319) . |
I tried to run the installer and it says that I have the same or Higher version of .NET framework.
I did check and I do have C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 Honestly it is above my head at this point. But I am still open to suggestions. |
In the \UI\DarqUI_v3 folder there is a file called utilitylog.txt. Open that and look near the bottom and see if you see any lines involving file downloads. Copy/paste anything interesting to me in a private message -- don't post it here.
