POI's gone/not showing
 

Hey all, since today for some reason, none of my POI's or new maps are showing in qeynos harbor etc, i get just the original SOE maps.

my eq.ini file does read
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname default

I tried re-installing several times. would it have anything to do with myeqmap is installed on C: and my EQ2 is on E:?

Also i do have the folder eq2map within the default UI folder, and all the files are in their, so it updated the correct folder, just not getting any POI's.

I do hope someone has a suggestion, because i really do love the POI's hehe

PS... sorry thought this might also be the issue, i tried running eq2map on the test server, using the old .95b version, where you copy and pasted the 3 files into the deafault UI directory, maybe their is a clash of programs?

I have done what the above post suggested and it has not helped. Any thoughts? Everything with the Mapper seems the same, just POI's missing. Thanks.

My next best guess would be to delete the eq2map folder and re-run the updater. A handful of people have had trouble with EQ2MAP today, and deleting the EQ2MAP folder and eq2.ini are the quickest fixes; you likely just managed to download a file during one of our format transitions which is giving you trouble.

Let me know if either of you are still having trouble and I'll look inot the matter further.

also if that doesnt work try getting the newest version of the updater (i just posted it about 10 minutes ago) and going to C:\Program Files\EQ2MAP Updater and deleting eq2map_config.cfg and then using the "EQ2MAP Updater - Update Test Server" shortcut for the test server and the "EQ2MAP Updater" shortcut for the normal server.

thank you for the help, i got it to work, by deleting all the files you suggested including the default UI folder, ran eq, it downloaded new files then i ran eq2map again, it re downloaded the files and YAY it started working.

Reporting POIs in the Down Below Missing.

I've got the latest updates, and using the Mini-Map mod tweak that does show the POIs for other zone.

I have also access the Condemened Catacombs before.

If you need more info let me know.
