Group window gone
Hi there.
All of the sudden, I can't manage to find my group window anymore. Today I was grouped, yet I couldn't find the box of the others. Of course I tried [alt] + [g] several times, to no avail. Then I looked into my options menu, and the shortcut IS still [alt] + [g], so that's not it either. Anyone any ideas? Thank you! |
If you inadvertently moved it off screen you might need to go into your options and click the dreaded reset all windows button. :(

This should work, but really only applies if it is simply off-screen. You could 'slightly' mod whatever group window you use to force it on-screen.
Put something like OnShow="Location=0,100" in the first <Page ...> tag of your eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml and save it to your mod directory. If you're unsure about mods, refer to the Installation FAQs. When you log in, move the group window, it's location should save. Then remove that line so it doesn't reset the next time you log in. Maybe there's an easier way, anyone? |
Hmm a few other things I could surgest but I working on the asumption that you either tried already or they not goign to work lol
Have you got an alt char? does the group window show up with that toon? If so then I guess you have the UI set up the same way, so type ingame /load_uisettings and select that characters profile from the list... |

I have no Alt and I cannot make one either, don't ask why, just believe me ;)
I will try Pooka's tip though! Thank you! How is the window called, where you can see the stats and such of your group members, and where you can click them? |
