Submitting POI's

Hello, I've been using EQ2Maps for what feels like a long time (since its inception waaaay back when, -er, what year was that anyway?), but never had much need to submit POI's due to other player's diligent and seemingly tireless efforts.

Then I ran F.S. Distillery after returning to the game from a 3 year hiatus and noticed that the map was completely empty of POI's! *gasp* So, figuring this would be my first submission attempt, I rolled up my sleeves and started work.

The first thing I noticed is that the in-game browser... doesn't seem to work very well anymore (not that it was terribly awesome to begin with). Fortunately, since I have another monitor handy, I opened an external browser to add POI's. Secondly, I noticed that there's now /loc clipboard (I don't recall this). This handy command will put the location data into the clipboard. Sweet!

Unfortunately, it puts it in the format similar to the following example:
122.18 -124.00 157.86 153.30 0.00 0.00

This is really unfortunate, since the POI website doesn't like this format at all and you have to manually delete the extra information and add commas. Ugh.

Now to the gist of my post (hopefully someone read through all this to get to this point /sweatdrop)... Can some simple code be added to the POI submission website to filter this data into the format that it wants OR is there some other excellent method to submit POI's that I'm not aware of?

I do have some modest programming skills myself, so I'd love to talk to someone about the former, but I'm sure that the authors of this website don't want a stranger mucking around in their code. Is there someone willing to spend their copious free time (an oxymoron, I know) to drop me a message or something?

Thank you. :)

I think the easiest way is to do it this way:

If its a mob or object select it first.
Open map.
Press Submit POI
When browser is open ,Select the URL field.
Press Ctrl-A
Press Ctrl-C
Open your normal browser and paste the clipboard in URL field.
Follow the instructions on page.
