updater not downloading
 
this is what it says when i try to dl it i got ti to work on one of my laptops but my desk top and my other laptop has this same error

as it says, update your java runtime --> java.com

Man I was having the same issue.. I just couldn't wrap my head around what the error msg was trying to tell me. Why couldn't it just say I had the wrong version installed? GM9 you are the BEST!!:D

I have the latest version of Java installed and I am still having the same issue.

You should only get the message in the screenshots if you have a really old java version installed (because all others can be updated automatically) - current Version is 1.6 Update 11. If you tried to install that and it still didn't work I guess you could try to uninstall Java completely and then reinstall it.

It only updates automatically (and forced by WebStart) if you don't use Vista. Think that will change in the next major release...

I also am I having this problem with vista still. I tried uninstalling Java completely and reinstalling with no luck :(
