Pretty sure you fix that one by going to window settings for your chat window and picking "Frame and TitleBar" in the dropdown menu.

/cheers thanks Dethdlr.

I set the frames option to Frame and title bar. It was on NONE.

How about those of us that don't want a frame and titlebar? I just switched from ProfitUI, and I always had Frame and Titlebar set to none and it still worked.. I guess I could steal the chat windows from Profit, but I was looking for an easier fix.

Also I tried the..

Q: How can I set my chat window so the text entry box doesn't overlay the chat history?

A: Use Window Settings and turn ON the titlebar for any chat window you plan to type in. You can hide the titlebar using the opacity slider.

From the FAQ. Hiding the titlebar using the opacity slider also dims your tabs. If that's the only fix we have, then I will have to steal the chat window from Profit.

Rename or delete your eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml in your Fetish folder. Rename _simple_eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml to eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml and then you should be able to hide the frame / titlebar but not get the collapsing text entry area behavior.

I'll have to check on the Tab opacity thing, thought I set this to not sync with titlebar opacity.
