8 Straight hours testing EQ2 Beta...WOW!!!
 

Hi all,

After finally getting a chance to install and play, all I have to say is WOW!!!

You know what? I had read every beta testers comments good and bad. The bad reviews had me worried, but PASS.

Guys have no fear they have delivered the goods here. Once they tweak the net code and give each class a unique flavor. Its all good.

As soon as I figure how to take in screen pics I will post some.

after seeing another member of this forum play *Taleisin**cough* for about 8 hours straight, I'd have to say I agree, now if only I could get my own account, I haven't felt this addicted by just watching something since another friend got me addicted to EQ1. I've read all the bad press and reviews, but really, if the beta's this good, then I'm deffinatly switchin on release date.

I have a few posts on this forum against those who have talked trash about our beloved EQ2. Theres no room for it. This game although not perfect, is still a huge leap forward in the video game industry. hands down!

the PRINT SCREEN button now takes screenshots...

I've tried many mmo's but I just keep coming back to base 1. Every mmo we play in my home, we just compare to eq. I guess thats what we are used to, I just want to be there.

I know this is going to sound really dumb, but when I hit printscreen, where does the file get saved too?

Open up paint or photoshop and just go to edit than paste. I've never done it in photoshop. I did it in paint, then saved it as jpeg (or whatever file needed) and edit in photoshop.

Don't feel dumb, I didn't know for the longest time either!!!

The EQII directory, just like EQI did.
(Wish they would have put them in a 'screenshots' directory though. But at least the directory isn't as crowded as it was with EQI)

haha or that, see, all these new thing I learn everyday. Time to clean out the Eq folder of unwanted pics now if that is the case.

Sheeesh, I finally came out for some air.... love the game, it's a bit buggy still, but it's enjoyable. I been in there so long I think my eye's are gonna fall outa my head. Made it to 10 in a day, im officially a predator now and will be moving on to 20 for assassin. I'd do a journal on how it goes, but I think there are like 20 others that are pretty much the same. Again, I'd like to thank Kudane/Dolby for the opportunity... this is great. :D

I wish I was in the beta.. *jealouses*

I can't wait for it either, no need to be jealous tho. :p

Getting into Beta is Sony's idea of EQ2's epic quest

Gosh by the time i get into beta everyone that won with me are gonna be way past me :p i seen esperant is leveling fast /sigh...can't wait to join you guys :)

I'm a bit frustrated because I applied for beta way back when SOE was accepting applications (not all the 3rd-party promo beta keys coming out lately) and have not and probably will not receive an invite before release. You'd think that the fact that I've had my account since the release of EQ, and that I beta tested EQ would count for something but, sigh, apparently not. :confused:
Ah, well. At least release is only a couple of weeks away now.

hehehehehe I have tried EVERY opportunity to get a beta key ,for MONTHS now ,so naut feel bad,Sony just hates us ,that's all ...... ;)
