Buff Macro Tool
 

I'm trying to find an alternative to this now out of date tool "Custom Click Buff Macro" http://www.eq2interface.com/download...edBuffing.html

I use ProfitUI now. Two questions:

-- is there another tool like the Buff Macro tool linked above?
-- if not, how do I edit ProfitUI click to cure buttons - adding text - and changing the spell they cast? I think I need to find some crazy number - how do I know what number a spell is?

(I'm open - gulp - to another interface tho wouldn't want to go that route unless it was strongly recommended)

seems that the addon still works at least on my end i use drumsUI (HEAVILY MODIFIED)

It has some quirks and updates I could add to it, but it's as functional as it should be. I use it every day.

What makes you think that it's out of date?

I must've done something wrong then. I uploaded it, and when I log in and do the "show_window" command, I get a blank, black screen.

Sounds like you failed at the part of the instructions to add the include entry to the custom xml file. I don't know what it is about Profit, but it makes people fail that step quite a bit, while no one else mentions it.

It is the autoupdater aspect I would think. They make the change then run the updater without putting the file on ignore and voila...no changes left.

Got it working! Is there a way to send a /tell to the person who is getting the buff?

More or less one of the updates I could do. Maybe after ACTv3 and one other personal project.
