I have a sneaky suspicion that the slash/crush/pierce resist values in the Inspect window will always show your own values. Please inspect some newbie to check.

It shows their values -- I already checked that.


Most people that aren't priests or mages come out as showing 0 for everything, though, and I tracked it down 2 buffs that give those resists for me (a priest) but I don't know what the mage spell is that gives them that resistance buff. Also, my slashing is higher since I chose that slashing resistant trait.

Why would YOUR slashing be higher if you picked a slashing resistance trait? Do you mean a trait that gave you more slashing ability?

No it was like a weapon resistance trait and I chose slashing. I mean, my buff (Ferine Mask) seems to give everyone in the group 731 to all weapon resistances, but I have a bit more since I chose Slashing Weapon Resistance, which is why it is higher than 731. Also, the Predator line for Furies adds more to those weapon resistances.

how did you get the pathfinding title?

Doing lots and lots of writs for the faction hits so that I could buy from the faction merchants.

how much did it cost, and what guild level are you guys?

The first title (Naturalist) was like 1g and the second one (Pathfinder) was like 6g. No status costs for any items on faction merchants.

My guild is 18 atm, but guild level has nothing to do with your faction.

Ohh ohh.. so the values are Slashing, Crushing, and Piercing Resistances. I didn't get that because I was looking at the Inspect Window, and not the Persona window :rolleyes:

Well, they ARE under the Resistances column, Drumstix :D
