I'm pleased to announce that I've started work on converting my old NightElf UI (From EQ1 ) for EverQuest II.
As you can see, the initial design work is just about done.. I can't wait to start using this UI again. I'm very excited to start designing again, and I hope to become a regular contributor once more Jethal Silverwing The Legacy of Kithicor, Antonia Bayle Server http://eq2.kithicor.org |
Very, very nice!!

very sweet looking.

Looking good.

Only issue I seem to be having is the hotkeys.. they look good where they are, just as they were in EQ1.. BUT, EQ2 allows for multiple hotkey windows, and well.. kinda looks like crap with that section of the UI plastered all over the place.
I'll have to find another window to take that spot on the primary design and leave the hotkeys alone. |

ok, made the hotkeys normal again and made that area into a small info page with paperdoll.. I like how it looks, nice to look at and functional for the most part.

Night Elf
I love your UI but a few small problems maybe you can help me with.
1. my screen isnt wide enough and the maintained spells bar is half hidden 2. cant resize my quest windo to fit into one of the chat spots 3. I have my chat window on the left where you have the 2 stacked chat boxes your ui has a clear spot for them but it isnt hollow and if i click on myself it covers the chat boxes. I can still see chat but cannot scroll or change chat modes, or chat tabs. 4. i would like to be able to resixe the spell windows |
I've been waiting for this UI since day 1 of EQ2, I used it on all my characters in EQ1. The only problem I'm having is that I use 1600x1200 resolution and the UI isn't wide enough to fit across the screen. If I change my resolution to fit the UI it's too cramped. I would greatly appreciate it if you could, perhaps, make the Maintained spell effects window resizeable. This would allow this UI to be used with larger resolutions as it can be resized to link the two halves of your UI. I'm not sure how difficult the thing is that I'm requesting as I'm XML challenged but I would really love to be able to use this UI again. Thanks Jethal

As a fan and user of this mod in EQ1 as well, I hate to see a patch released a day after this became available. I logged into EQ2, but didn't notice any anomolies. Not sure if I'm missing anything new from the patch as the new con system is a lil confusing. Great work Jethal, and btw my main is a 22 Ranja! woot. :nana:

i love this UI. though i did make a few adjustments with some of the mods available in downloads. this is what my UI looks like now
http://eq2players.station.sony.com/e...imageId=249652 was wondering how hard it would be to make the ivy go along the top part of the UI, so that it blends in with the bottom. |
Night Elf UI finally
i wanted this a long time when the game camoe out and it happened. Sweet
