Shy Updater
 

I have been a Darq user for many years and I love it - many thanks!
I play EQ2 on the TLE and wanted to do an update a couple of days ago so I launched the updater. I got a notice that there was a newer version I should download so I went to download the newer version and, now, nothing works - not even the downloader. After unzipping the files, I tried to start the file updater but the (I assume) updater utility window just zipped across the screen and disappeared off the right side. It shows the utility running in the task bar; but, it is inaccessible as it is off the screen. I do have two displays I have been using for years but the other display is to the left of the main one - not the right where this file disappears to. I uninstalled the utility and reinstalled it; but - same problem. Any ideas what the problem is? I am lost without my Darq! Please help.:eek:

I'm glad you enjoy DarqUI, and sorry you're having trouble with the utility.

Open File Explorer and enter %LOCALAPPDATA% in the address bar. This will display a list of folders. Open \DarqUI_Unified and you will see at least one folder that also begins with DarqUI_Unified. Delete these, as they contain internal settings including the utility's last location on the screen.

Now double-click the utility icon and it should open in the center of your main monitor. There is no code in the utility that makes it move around on the screen by itself, so I'm not sure what to tell you on that.
