reset to default UI set up
 

Hello, I logged on to EQ for the first time in 7 months and want to start fresh- I deleted eq2.ini and deleted everything in my UI folder, and deleted server_name_eq2_uisettings.xml but all of my UI still is in the same spot it was and some of it still looks like my custom mods (not sure how, I thought I deleted everything)

If I'm not explaining well, I want to see the default ui set up- like where they put the chat window and maintenance windows. And their default window opacities. I think I hid some windows I didn't care about, but since I'm starting fresh I want to see the default.

Oh I did /loadui but everything is still in the position I had it in. I'm guessing I need to delete a file I don't know.

Thanks. Glad to see eq2interface is still going strong, if I decide to play again and get used to the default, I will def be coming here to see the new mods.

Make sure you've deleted all the charsettings files, they also end in .xml now. Also, deleting eq2.ini should restore you to the default UI, if not make sure the only thing in the UI/ folder is the default folder.

I really really appreciate you answering this! That was exactly the problem, I had deleted only one charsettings file and there were two. Don't know how I missed that. Thank you =) And its a good thing I did that, I saw a new interface window after I deleted my UI set up, that I hadn't seen with my set up!
