Wanted: Raw EQ2 Logdump of mapping session

I'm planning on writting a mapping tool that will monitor the Logfile realtime and update a graphical display of what you have mapped. It will then allow you to output to SVG or some other format. In theory, it will also calculate the zonerect numbers "on the fly".

What I'd like to get a copy of it someone's raw log of a mapping session. It would allow me to test my code against real input and adjust my scaleing, etc.

The idea is to allow you to get realtime feedback on how the map looks and allow you to fill in details as you go. Should reduce the amount of time you spend popping in and out of zones.

The imputus for this project was the lack of the mapper.xml file aluded to in the tutorial.

Anyway, if someone could post their log here, It'd help me make a simple tool to assist in mapping.

(BTW, I did check out "mappie", but it seems like it's designed for offline editing . . . Not quite what I had in mind.)

mappie has a thing to dynamicly update your position on the map, however i dont know if each time you do /l if it will update the current "graph", i think it doesnt do that.

this is what you are trying to make. It doesnt output zonerect, tho.

It uses perl. command is
perl mapper.xml logfile.txt > map.svg

Shouldn't be hard to get zonerect, i did it with vbscript and excel here
