EQ2Map Updater has stopped working
 

So... I'm trying to run my EQ2Map updater and, for more than a month now, when I launch the program, I get an error message saying "EQ2Map Updater has stopped working".

I removed the program and installed it again but nothing changed. I don't know what suddenly broke.

Any ideas?

It might be the .Net Framework that don't work.

Yeah, saw that other programs had troubles with last versions of windows 10 and .Net Framework 2. Guess I'll download the darkUI patcher or something like that if it still doesn't work next time I want to patch EQ2maps and just copy the files over (assuming their patcher works). I don't rely on EQ2Maps and patch it once a year at most usually (which is kinda fun for someone who started making maps). It'll just preclude me to test reliably the new maps once they're updated to the patcher like I did before.
I tried to reinstall .Net Framework 2 but it didn't change a thing.

DarqUI targets .NET 4.0 and it updates EQ2MAP just fine if you're still having trouble.

You can use the DarqUI utility to install only EQ2MAP without DarqUI. Answer No No Yes Yes to the four options when you install, and the utility will take it from there. You can come back to the EQ2MAP utility page to update your maps any time. Please post again here if it gives you any trouble.

It suddenly started working again after a massive windows update, so windows was the culprit!

And thanks for the DarkUI tuto (I need to install again the teleport window I think while i'm at it)
