Cure Pots from Character Screen?

either i've lost something over the last few months, or i imagined it.

are we supposed to be able to self-cure by clicking on the detrimental in the character window? i've noticed recently that i haven't been able to, tho i'd swear i was able to before.

btw...love fetish...the other UIs look so cartoony, and fetish has been great for 3 yrs.

There is a bug on SOE's end where the /cureplayer command will not work with the new pots. I've bugged it every day and well I guess like most every thing else, they'll get to it when pigs fly.

Yep, as Landiin said the issue is within the command itself. When T10 came out they failed to update the command to use the new potions. T9 and below will work fine, but anything requiring the T10 potions you won't be able to use the player window click-to-cure for potions.

i was told that drums has a work-around, but haven't looked into it yet.

There has been a work around since we first knew it wasn't working correctly. The workaround is; you need the items VDL #, in this case each pots VDL #. Then you can use the /use_itemvld # instead of /cureplayer command.

Yeah, the work around is basically the way we did click-to-cure with potions before they'd came up with /cureplayer. I'll add a variant for T10 pots on the player window to the to-do list.

I recently came back to the game but I thought clicking the detrimental in the player window would cast my cure spell. That doesn't work either.

By default the player window attempts to use a T10 potion. A variant of the window that uses the cureplayer behavior that would use your spell is included in the optional variants folder. Just delete your _Fetish_clickcures.xml file and rename the optional variant _nopotion_Fetish_clickcures.xml to _Fetish_clickcures.xml and move it into your main Fetish 12.4 folder.
