Server only POI's?
 

On the AB server we have two yearly Festivals that take place in Antonica and the Commonlands. These run for a week each and have activities scattered across those lands, typically we try to keep the events in the same location every year.

My question is, can we add those locations as POI's? My concern is that these would show up across all the servers and cause some confusion. Is there a way to limit POI's to just one server?

Currently no, all POIs are either for everyone or local just to you.

I do not wish to clutter up the map for others then.
Where can I find the instructions on adding local only POI's that I can pass on to the other Event Planners?

Right click on the big map and click Add PoI

Click OK to make it a user only PoI or you can submit it to Eq2Maps

Use Add POI (without submitting to EQ2MAP) to make your POIs. Then go to your eq2map folder in EverQuest II/UI and open the POI folder. The file custom_poi.xml is what you'll want to distribute.
