How do I put alpha in my image

with photoshop cs2

If you are working with a .dds file that already has an alpha layer, you will have to color in parts you want to show white.

If you are working with a new image then just start out with background set to transparent.

If you are working with a existing image you have to add a alpha layer then color in the parts you want to show white. solid white is 100% opacity, solid back is 0% opacity.
