[Live] 12.18.08 Special Gift - Interface Changes
 

The following is a compare between the old default interface before the expansion (12.17.08) and the new default interface after the expansion (12.18.08) on the right with changes in red. Use the context & line numbers to help find your way to make the changes needed to your custom interface.

Hmm... 45 icons in the effects windows... wonder if that means I'll be able to see all my icons during raids... probably not. :p

Yeah... but it means we can see 15 more. I'll take it =)

Not really. Food/Drink have always been sort of 'high priority' in the effects window, so now you'll just be seeing more 'low priority' effects that you were not previously.

I can never seem to find them when I need to :rolleyes:
Didn't meant to take away from the nice addition of extra slots though.

I just think it's a little lame that you can't tell if your currently consuming food/drink without sifting through your effects window.

Auto-consume is non-afk-friendly, and just too unresourceful for me.
And fiddling with potions all the time, across several toons, which have short durations that I also don't like to auto-consume, food/drink just make things a bigger pain in the rear!

*Edit* I'm thinking of changing the food/drink icon in my DDS file to something with a solid color... even if other buffs or whatever use them as well...

True. I definately don't use autoconsume... there's plenty of time I don't need food/drink. You would probably be safe changing the icons... I can't think of anything else that uses the food/drink icons.

Can someone put in "Code for Dummies" terms exactly what I have to do to change my journal UI to show the new sorting stuff?
