New Player issue with stray UI windows

1 Attachment(s)
Hello folks,

I have a clean EQ2 install from the Daybreak game launcher to the default game location and have installed DarqUI Unified with the default settings and I am seeing stray UI windows on screen and some duplicated windows.

I believe I have followed the setup instructions correctly but have no idea what I have missed or need to change so would appreciate advice.

PC : Win10, 7700K, 1080ti, 32Gb, 2560x1440, Samsung 960PRO SSD

I had played the game vanilla for a short while without changing any initial UI settings apart from opening a second hotkey strip, ran the DarqUI tool and allowed it to set up for my one character and this was the result (scaled to 50% so it fits as an attachment...

Any clues?

Those are all custom DarqUI components. From the top they are:

Icon Bar
Extended Player
Stat Monitor
Maintained Spell Monitor
Gear Buff Macros (lower right)

The reason they all appear is because new DarqUI users might not realize they exist if they were not visible on first login. If you hover your mouse over each one of them, you'll see a blue gem in the upper left-hand corner. Click that and the window manager will appear. From there you can a) choose whether to leave them closed for future logins, and b) click the help icon at the top of the window manager to get guidance on what they do and why you might want to use them.

Those windows are some of the more important parts of DarqUI, so take a look at the help information before you close them permanently.

Many thanks - I'll do that. I had faded them to 10% until I knew what they did so now I'll have a read about their function.
