Map not showing quests

I had to get a new computer and after installing the game and DarqUI, the maps are not showing the animated feathers anymore. Actually, the maps look kind of, off. Can't figure out what is going on. Hope someone can help.

Peace
John

Nevermind. Tweaked around a little and it all is good now. Peace!

Ok, how did you do it?

I am not showing quest feathers , blue areas , nothing but POI's .
I even uninstaller DarqUI and EQ2 , wiped all settings , reinstalled , and still not working. I remember having had this issue before , but been a while since I played last , and have completely forgotten how I fixed it the last time.

Not all quests get the blue hints, the developers have to add those manually for each quest that gets them. They do need to appear in the quest helper (check the box next to the quest name) to see any hints that do exist. If you are not seeing the usual EQ2MAP icons, use the repair link on the EQ2MAP page in the utility. That should fix any map problems without having to wipe out your setup.

It is working for me now. But behaving oddly , and I think it is on my end ( not the UI or the app). Periodically , I will open the map and all quest feathers , blue areas ,etc. will be either gone ,or rendered at a tiny scale .Sometimes the map will even be black.
If I switch to another map , then switch back to the current zone , everything renders properly.
I'm playing at 3440x1440 at 100hz , and I think it might be some weird interaction with other software running that periodically accesses the desktop.

But now that I know that switching maps and switching back again works, it is really a non-problem for me now.

Thanks for getting back to me though! Much appreciated !
