Quick Raid Buttons - What spells to preconfigure for each subclass?
 

Mostly due to heart/shard casting summoners my raid window now also has received additional buttons on the raid window to quickly cast a spell/ability on any raid member (those will be made auto-hiding/optional in the next version btw). The window automatically detects your subclass and provides a different set of buttons depending on your subclass.

Currently none of them are pre-configured, but if you post for your subclass the three spells/macros that you need to cast most often on a raid member and would therefore like preconfigured in that window I could do so for the next version.

Please post in this format

Subclass: <your subclass>
Button 1: <spell/ability/complete multi-command macro for button 1>
Button 2: <spell/ability/complete multi-command macro for button 2>
Button 3: <spell/ability/complete multi-command macro for button 3>

And only for max level players please, I cannot support lower tiers as they are not raided enough to warrant the effort.

Let's try to fill in the missing classes (and feel free to disagree with classes where we already have proposals).

right now i have my fetish configured to use

Subclass: Inquisitor

Button1: Devoted Ministration
Button2: Fanatical Healing
Button3: Suffering Penance


Comment: That would make: Small heal, Large heal, Single reactive

For guardian, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is intercede.

Let's see, for Illusionist I'd like to see:

1. Cure Arcane
2. Mana Flow (this is an Enchanter AA so this works for Coercers as well)
3. Synergism

For a pally, you can probably put heals and such on there, but the three I'd probably say would be most useful (3rd is questionable):

Celestial Touch (Lay on Hands line)

Intercede (Damage soak)

Elixir of Resuscitation (Rez) (or possibly Devotion for warding, since you have to be so close for a rez anyway, you can probably just click the body)

For a warlock, the only thing you have raidwide that needs to be quick-cast is:

Bestow Energy (mana feed)

But for the other two slots you could probably add our two raidwide buffs just for easy rebuffing or switching:

Boon of the Damned

Nihilistics

Cure Arcance is a click-to-cure on the group window, why would you want that on the raid window (i.e. are you seriously using that out of group)?

Conjuror -

Scintilla of Essence
Ember Seed
Cure Arcane

Sometimes we're a bit quicker than the healers at reacting to the tank getting charmed than the healers. In raids I also tend to hide my group window, unless i need to be watching for a cure.

Dirge -

Oration of Sacrifice
Elegy at Death's Door
Hyran's Seething Sonata

Only thing my brigand tends to cast on others in raids is Appeal for Mercy, well apart from clobbering people for laughs while waiting to form up.

Subclass: Fury

Button1: Back into the Fray
Button2: Wild Salve or Nature's Elixir (not sure which I would like as they both are useful for topping up other groups.)
Button3: Greater Bloodflow

I am sometimes put into an all scout/fighter group and make a macro to a mage (most often a illusionist since they have an aa line to reduce their cure casting time) for cure arcane when I am stunned.

Healers have their own group to take care of for cures and there have been times when my group has died due to me not being cured in time to cure/heal the rest of my group.

Subclass: brigand
Button 1: Appeal for Mercy
Button 2: assist
Button 3: no idea

Do you raid by any chance? Cures are the difference between life and death on touch epic encounters. Anyone with a single target cure spell can cure anyone in the raid, and should if able. So yes, once this macro makes it nice and easy, I will be curing out of group :p. Either way it's the only other spell I'd ever cast out of group anyway, besides the other 2.

As a raiding healer I would prefer:

Button 1: Greater Bloodflow
Button 2: Nature's Elixir

Couldn't have put it better...
Button 3: Cure Arcane

When the tank screams "Charmed!" into Ventrillo... :)

Lol right, although for curing the tank I prefer a custom hotkeyed macro with his name in there instead of trying to find a cure button on the raid window. But yeah, I heard you, if you want it on the raid window so be it, every mage will get one. No need to discuss this further in this thread, let's keep in on track, we are still missing a number of classes here! :)

B2: Rezz

Swahies only have hate transfer to put on a tank, dont have anything that can be cast out of group. So you can take us off the list.

Subclass: Defiler
Button 1: Putrid Balm (small heal)
Button 2: Sacrificial Deliverance (big heal)
Button 3: Malignant Shroud (single target ward)

I like the ideas of putting cures on these as well, but that is something that could be custom configured by the user's tastes. :) I too have a button to mash to hit our MA/MT with cure arcane/cure trauma.

Edit: +fav, I've always used Profit for as long as I can remember, am lost without it. You are doing the god's work gm9. :nana:

Button 1: Reverence
Button 2: Grand Restoration
Button 3: Glorious intercession

Shadowknight - None really jump out as essential, but these 3 could be useful

• Grave Blessing (Reactive damage shield / heal) - normally macroed direct to MT/self
• Intercede (generic to all fighters) - dito
• Mortal Embrace(Fake Death) - now that could be fun :)

Troubador - yep, I can't think of anything beyond Jester's Cap either

for warlock i'd prefer Bestow Energy on one, Cure Arcane on a second, and Boon+Nihilistics on the third.

For mystics id say

learned healing large st heal
rejuvinating rite small st heal
ancient balm 1spell to cure them all

/agree with above as a raiding dirge

Button 1: Murderous Design
Button 2: Apply Poison
Button 3: assist? (yeah its rather lame - coz you can do that elsewhere)

But MD & AP are group buffs not raid - so its rather pointless haha!

I'd like to have Grand Amelioration instead of Reverence in there :)

Just wanted to interject this quickly. Once you have edited and saved your file to configure the buttons with the appropriate spells, right-click it, go to Properties and check the "Read-only" box. It will save you some frustration if you tend to do complete overwrites when updating ProfitUI :o. If you need to edit the file again, uncheck the box, rinse, repeat.

As a Coercer top priority is...

1. Mana Flow
2. (depending on AA line I'd say) Sever Hate
3. Cure Arcane

As a Monk I'd say...

1. Heal
2. Not needed
3. Not needed

I'd most likely make all three heals for my own use

is it possible to add more than one command per macro...

example... the first one would use X ability and say over raid channel that it's using it on the person.

It might be possible to mod the player's window effects icons to automatically raidsay asking for a cure when an icon is made visible..

I've tried this for my troubador and it doesn't work... All I hear is the "beep" from clicking the #1 button in the raid window... if I try to click the other two it prints the stuff in my chat window.

For Dirge:
Agree with Oration of Sacrifice and Elegy at Death's Door.
I like Elegy of Awakening more than Hyran's for sure for the 3rd spot. Only other thing I could think of is Confront Fear or Lend shielding both not so used AA's. Maybe Magnetic Note also not used much but a Macro for that one usually takes care of it (just like Hyran's).

For Inquisitor:
Agree with Small and Large heals. As a third option I like the no rez sickness rez a bit more than reactives.
