Here is the profit experience bar that has been modified so that when you right click and choose minimize it includes the Profit start button (night vision,pet hide, etc.) and looks identical to current when in maximized mode. It will be the new default xp bar and should be on the updater in the near future.

Before we start making new UI pieces default, can we please get pictures posted to this forum, to confirm that most of us like the new version

I fior one am having no problems with the current experience bar, and start button, and do not really want it changed from what it has been for years.

As I said in anoher post, the only UI piece I would like to see changed is the character screen, because it is too big.

You are not having issues but more than a few are. The changed version looks no different unless you set it to.

Well I thought I had found a fix...but I didn't....all my change did was move it to the default location....I would like to also get rid of the old button since I will just use the one off the xp bar....

And if we can get rid of old one do we need to remove some settings for locating in the character xml for the old one? Like sound and volume slidebars

looks like there is more changes in this file, it's used to be that u can chose what stat will apear on the upper panel, basicly u can either show the 1 with run speed or the 1 with XP progress and then when u hovered over it, it showed the other 1, now it shows the xp progress and u can't set it tho show the other 1, would like the fixed since i used to have the 1 with run speed showen and the xp progress visble on mouse hover, hope u can get it done :)

There is also a problem with the non-minimized version of the XP bar, I ONLY shows Adventure XP, when you select to display AA or Crafting XP in the large numbers, it does not switch.

It works correctly in the minimized version.

Can we get the non-minimized version fixed please. It was working fine before the changes for the EQ2 button in the XP bar.

I hope this can be fixed quickly.

Click on the percentage number itself, it changed the different xp options for me: AA, Tradeskill, Adventure

I cleaned a bit of discussion out of this thread to keep it on topic and productive. The two people involved in their little personality clash (along with some unlucky wording on both sides) will know who they are.

Let me just say that if a modder decides to make their work public and even discuss it here on the forums, of course they are always interested in constructive feedback. Naturally, whoever is doing the work on a mod eventually decides themselves what exactly to invest their free time on. In my experience that person will be quite capable of evaluating feedback and taking a decision themselves, and Silat does not appear to be an exception. :)

I, too, however, want to see the Run Speed and Health/Power regen instead of the xp / tradeskill etc.

Ditto, I'd love to be able to have an option of having the run speed visible all the time and the other be the mouseover.
Or just a click to switch rather than the mouseover.

Has this been addressed yet?

I prefer to have the XP show, because this includes number of guildmates logged on. I don't have any need to see runspeed, regen, status and weight all the time, but I do like to know how many guildmates are on at a glance.

Please, if this is going to be changed, can we have some kind of option to choose, rather then a forced change from the current way it works.

If your character is already maxed out, the info is not really usefull.

XP Bar Updated:

Minimized view shows start button controls.
Maximized looks as before.

Changes:
Can now use the right click select experience type option.
Window settings once again determine top stats view ( run or xp )
Does not snap to top and bottom anymore.
Frame and Title bar set to None defaults to Xp Stat View with no Hover.
Frame and Title bar set to Frame defaults to Run Stat View with no Hover.
Frame and Title bar set to Both defaults to Xp Stat View with Hover.

Hmm...the new xp bar is not working for me. It is now only showing the xp bar at the top and will not show the run speed even on hover over. Also right clicking is not working either....

OK...I got it to show the run speed after all...it seems that I had my frame and titlebar opacity all the way down which was only allowing it to show the xp bar, so once I put the normal and mouseover opacity to max it worked (is that intended?)....however the right clicking option to change experience types still is not working for me...am I still not doing something I need to do? Of course clicking on the xp works to change it still.....

Oh and the night vision on the xp bar start button is still acting funny....it only highlights a few objects vs lighting up the whole area....the regular start button night vision works correctly....so for now (since I use that button a lot) I am still using the regular startbutton.....

The frame being visible is intended. The nightvision issues you are having I have no clue about. Mine works fine from either location on 3 different characters and 2 different pc's.

The right click ability was not working. The attached file is working for real this time. Sorry about the hassle. Goes to show you should test all functionality after making any change.

Great...the "new" new xp bar is working for me now also...dumb question...but how do you hide the new start button when you have the xp bar in minimize? I am using it in maximize due to my night vision issue...but if that decides to fix itself...hiding the button and using the one on the xp bar would be cool....

Something, somewhere is causing the start button to always be visible. I am trying to track it down. When I do switching the xp bar should make the start button appear or disappear.

Wasn't it Ctrl+~ or something to hide it? Otherwise in the control center initialization routine just add a visible=false to the OnShow of the start button and then do a hide_window.

They removed the option for the keybind with gu57 since they removed the start button.

I played alittle today with new exp bar and noticed it wasnt always switching btwn the diff types of exp as it was yesterday. ie doing trades and big number shows that then turn in a quest and big number changes to AA exp.

I tried with both maximized and minimized big number on exp showing AA exp the did some tradeskills at lvl 89 and it didnt switch to trade exp.

I cant remember really but i thought it useto be if you right clk window you had a choice to autoswitch btwn types of exp for the big number. If so its not a choice now. And if not then the autoswitching is broke if you havent fixed it since 12:00 est when i got home i raided so i didnt do anything on that toon will in morning.

I just retested the autoswitching and it is working for me. Maybe you have the bar from before the last update?

Alright this is hopefully the final version of the gu57 compatible experience bar. It now autohides the external startbutton in minimize view (the view with a startbutton integrated) and shows it in maximize view. Hopefully this makes it usable for all play styles.

i have downloaded the latest ex bar update that u did however i STILL cant get the run speed/weight "set" to stay up.... over mouse over... is there a fix to have the speed/weight/hp regen stay permanantly and only change when u mouse over it

It's no longer a choice on the right-click menu, no. If you go into Options, User Interface and scroll down to the bottom there's a new Experience Bar section. The checkbox to control whether the XP bar autoswitches XP types or not is there.

After a major game update, always check your options. They may have added or removed some and you'll want to know what they did and set any new settings appropriately.

Update to the Experience Bar.

Fixes the autohide function of startbutton when in experience window is in minimize mode. Specifically it makes the startbutton not show initially when minimize is selected and you first load the ui.

This should be on the updater soon.

I set transparency to max, title and frame for display "player and guild experience stats". When hover cursor - display "hp/mp reg. and status points".

But after relogin "player and guild experience stats" doesn't appear before I hover curson on it. It's display "hp/mp reg. and status points".

Old version of Experience Bar works correct.
