I just DL'd this UI for my necro and it is great for her, nice job. =)
I was wondering, in the help section, the heritage quests are listed and there is reference to other tabs for the walkthrus (H01, H02 etc..), but the tabs for the walkthrus aren't there.. is there any way you can add that pls? Also I noticed that the Inventory Window, Casting bar, Socials, Guild xp bar and the Market windows seem to have the default skin on them rather than the one you changed on the rest.. will there be a patch or update to fix these? |

The New Elite UI IS AWSOME!!! MUST TRY IT
This Interface is awsome just downloaded it read step by step instructions and it worked great. Way better then the original look, and the quick launch keys make it way easier to do things. so many cool things i cant remember them all but awsome is all i have right now : ).

Drunador, if you want to report a bug, report a bug. There's no need to insult people or their work. Do not do it again. P.S. The issue with the window is probably that Fetish Framework wasn't loaded properly, mkay? If you want a piece from a UI set there's probably going to be a few dependencies. |

i would like to "steal" your startbutton to use in my custom ui . . . do i just need to copy the "eq2ui_mainhud_startbutton.xml" file into my custom ui, or do i need something more ? |

Expand ur knowlege, contract your discipline...
I guess I never thought to just do that lol! It works beautifully, and I did replace ur chars just now ;), the thing was on the search find ur char names were filled in so it whent to the first one that was just "charecter." Haven't tested out finding items with the new window at my vault yet, but I did install the new one, thanks a lot and if you say it works, me have some faith!

there's a little issues with LU19 like:
it's not possible create a new toon (after i choose race i see my toon but black screen wit no others choice like eye, body etccc..) and other issue is not possible to load uisettings from other char. I think that you are working for to fix that issues thaks in advance :) |

Edit: First comment no longer applicable (was based off your previous release that did not have the instruction in the readme to edit the code after using the utility). I see in the new version the readme has been fixed on how to edit them so it doesnt break the button locations.
I did find a couple other issues that are in the new version, on the persona page the Persona text label covers up the button to open the Personabar. Also clicking the personabar button has no effect. And the stop eating and drinking buttons on the Jaxel startbutton have been broke since a few LiveUpdates ago. |
Performance Panel
Hmmm... I'll fiddle with the stop/eating drinking buttons. I had not been made aware of that.
The persona label is an issue with Fetish, I'll see what I can do to fix that button. As for the bar. It was removed because it would continually pop up a couple updates ago and would not go away. I'll test it and see if it would be fine to readd it to the compilation. Thanks for the feedback! =] Val |

Your right the persona button being misplaced is also in Fetish 6.0 release I forgot to post a feedback there yet. It looks ok in UI Builder but in game its off. I now what you mean about the personabar having issues with staying hidden but its an easy fix too.
Edit: I just uploaded a patch to fetish nightfall that fixes the personabar toggle button placement as well as the personabar properly staying hidden when toggled off. I havent tested it with this UI but being built on the Fetish core it shouldnt have any issues. |

Hi There! I must Say that I really really love the UI, its Great! there was only one thing I am having difficulty, and I dont know if I just missed the option to change it or what. Its the Chatboxes... is there a way to make it so that where you type stays there all the time? With the way it is now if I type without having the mouse in the box it writes over the last line till its 'published' which gets frustrating. Any help you could give would be wonderful!

Hi there,
tried it out today, great job! first to say is that im not really experienced in eq2 interfaces, but this one helps a starter quite well. But there are two problems.... First is the "mini-quest-box", normally in the upper right corner.... Second is this "statsbar" in the upper left (stats of wis,int,money...).... Both worked perfectly after installing, but logging out /in again they were disapeared...no idea how to get them back :( anyone who could help? |
Yeah im having the same problem with the quest helper mines dissappeared it's driving me crackers i can't find the silly thing anywhere ive tried re-installing but it only re-appears temparily, vanishing again after my next login.
Ive had the same trouble with the start button mode but i worked out how to get that back using the /show_window journals.inventory command. i asume there is something like this for the other window too but i can't work out what the command would be. any help would be great leiela |
Hi Val love this version of Fetish the most but have a few questions.
I lose my command center when I log in and out and just was wondering if there was a stats bar or is that being buggy with your LU20. Let me know how I can fix it myself or just open the missing screens. Thx for your time and work. :) |
I have installed this UI and love it.
Same as some of the other guys who posted the only issue i have is that the command centre is not showing up when I log some of my toons and the only way to get it up is to log out and delete the toons settings.ini file. If I do an ingame window reset it does not show up so it is as if it is hidden. Any suggestions as to how I can get it to show up without doing any of the above? Most of my toons are high level so rearranging the windows over and over is a bit of an annoyance. OK Pet control window has vanished today. Please help i dont want to change UIs I like this one too much. OK apologies, I skimmed the info on the download page and missed this /show_window journals.inventory which brings up the command centre. But I still have no pet window. |
*cries* I lost my EQ start button! I'm lost without it since I updated to your LU20 compatible mod :( :(
Your interface is the best, I LOVE it...but *sniffs* I need my EQstart button, I don't remember all the silly letters to push for whatever <---lazy I've tried CTRL + ~ and all variations... no luck...nothing :( the ? icon is in its place, and it opens up the info center. Halp please! :eek: Rhinnah *Edited* I found the problem I think...I was running the monitor at 1280 x 1024 and the start button was not visible. At a lower setting, like 1280 x 768, or 1024 x 768, the button is visible. |

next the questions 1 how do i edit the mail insert text files (i can't find the folder mentioned in the readme file) 2 my quest helper is missing :( (I'd really appreciate help with this one) 3 my EQ2 button is not on the startbutton window as per the screenshots, it is separate, is this normal or did i mess something up? where it should be on the startbutton window is a questionmark that opens up the infocenter Help with these 3 items would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance :) |
Quest Helper window?
Love this Ui first off. Has so many things from others that I indeed love.
I can't get the quest helper window to work though. I click the toggle on the command center for it and the system just bongs at me saying that window can't be hidden. alt+~ doesnt do anything for it either. What is the trick to getting my quest helper back? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! Duckstomper |
Go into EQ2 Options, under user interface, game windows... uncheck the Keep Main HUD windows Visible selection. Then do ALT + ~ and/or Alt + J a couple times. That should solve all the disappearing startbutton, quest helper, and command center problems =]
As far as maps. From the enclosed readme... Note From Zonx (Maker of Fetish Nightfall) Ok I ran the EQ2Maps Updater and discovered they are pushing down a version of the eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml that completely disables all plugins and reskinning. Until this problem is resolved do the following... 1) Open the EQ2Maps Updater. 2) Click the "Options" button 3) Check the "Ask to overwrite MainHud.Map" 4) Close the EQ2Maps Upadter 5) Open your latest Fetish Maps or Complete set mod and drag a copy of eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml to your Custom UI directory. When asked if you wish to replace the file, click "OK". When running the EQ2Maps Updater in the future, if prompted to replace MainHud.Map say no. ---------- Let me know. =] Val |
UI Settings
Hi i copied server_1280x1024_eq2_uisettings to \everquest II folder and changed the name, but it looks nothing like your screenshot. I followed install instructions very well too. Not sure what went wrong. Even tried the the 1600x1200 layout. Any idea what happened? Could those files be out-of-date?

2nd time asking about faulty Logout
Hello i aksed a few days about how to change the names and severs so that i could just log straight into my next character without having to come all the way back out to start up screen and was given the answer.I followed the advice,found the file and edited it replacing character with my name and server with my servers name.Now the problem is if you only add 4 chars or less it works fine...but when i add more than 4 it crashed eq completely and the eq2 button with pger on it disappears.Is there a fix for this as i really like to be able to change to all my chars this way not just 4 of them

My login screen is off-center, then I cant create characters at the character select screen. Only way to change which char I am gonna play before I am in game (besides launchpad) is by using the arrow keys to select different toons.

re answer to 4 chars problem log out
Yes i am sure i did it correctly as i took it out and tried 5 times.Every time i got the same result.Four chars worked fine..more than this my whole game crashed and the eq2 button is missing things.I really don't understand why this would only happen to me..To be 100percent sure i will try again today and see what happens.

questions about UI.
um on one of my characters the little box showing my exp and tradeskill exp is there, but on the other it is not. What is the button combo to get it back?
one more question. Will the DoF expansion mess up the UI, or am I not likely to recieve any problems? I allready installed KoS if that matters. |
