Group Window
 
Is it possible to use only the group window from this UI and nothing else? I tried taking the group window file (at least what I thought was the group window file, I'm not at home to see the name right now) and all I got were plain black bars.

If someone could tell me how to use just the group window and leave everything else at default I would really appreciate it.

I quickly browsed the last couple pages and couldnt find this issue I am having. When I hit P for personal information, the top 20% of the window has the normal background, then the next 60% is SOLID white, and the bottom 20% is normal. Any ideas on this.

All I have done is delete and re-install profit UI. Dont know much about custom UI's nor, XML so I dont really know how to trouble shoot the issue.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Also when I first installed ProfitUI I remember there being a thin Information bar at the top and bottom of my screen, well a while back I did something and the bottom bar went poof. Any idea on how to get it back? Or better yet what information was on that bar hehe.

yeah just extract eq2_mainhud_groupmembers.xml to your Ui dir :)

Apologies in advance for ignorance or repetition if posted elsewhere - but my login menu is coming up blank!! My Necro is staring out at Felwithe, and there is nothing else on the screen. If anyone can share what is wrong it would be a godsend.
I have already done several wipes of multiple folders in the UI sub of EQ2 dir, and also fresh patched EoF, but nothing seems to help! Fresh installs of Profit 3.0 give the same result. :(

Can anyone tell me how to get the LoginData.txt file to work? I can get one toon to show up, but is there a way to get all my toons to show up?

I've tried to make a seperate line for each toon, but only the first one shows up.

I did what it says in this post, but of the 6 character lines I have, only the top line will show up in the camp to character list.

There is an add on that you have to download for the background skins. It says it right at the top of the page of the Profit download page. ;)

Ah will try that tonight then, last night I was slightly rushed. What about getting the bottom information bar back onscreen?

Here's a quick question...

When i hover my mouse over items in my INV or in my bags, i can no longer see the preview of what it is...ie name, stats etc...

Any ideas of what this may be?

The minimal delay for Tooltips to display was increased in GU 29 so maybe that's what's happenig for you. Might find a slider for it somewhere in Options though I haven't looked yet myself.

For some reason.. the logindata txt file is working now... no clue why. It's had the info in there since last night, and it didnt' work, but now even though the game isnt' starting, all my toons show up, where before only one would.

just curious if there is an update yet for EoF.. i love the UI but it seems the new interface elements with EoF borked alot of the UI.

Avirnag - may want top read up the thread a bit. ;-) It has been updated for EoF. You'll need to completely delete your current Profit installation and reinstall the latest download version from scratch. If you don't do it this way expect problems.

Had a quick look through but couldnt see an answer but if it has been posted then I'm sorry .. 8)

My hotbar buttons are way to big as they are and I cant seem to find a way to resize them. I may be overlooking something silly but for the life of me I cant see it, so is there a way to resize the hotbar icons?

any one know how to get the group window horizontal across the screen instead of vertical. Nice UI , just started using it today after the latest EoF update.

right click on hotbar and u see option "size icon"...

Included with the ProfitUI down load are zip files containing several different window options, including a horizontal group window. Unzip it and overwrite the existing group window.

brnd new user of this UI here, and I must say it's awesome.. BUT..

I have searched for the answer to this, so please bear with me if it's been answered, but I couldn't find it..

I can't get the buff descriptions up next to the spells like in the screenie - should this work? all I get is the spell icon, no name, it would be really useful to have the name too - I always forget what they are!

Found a little typo:

It says health twice, while it should be health regen, not just health. :P
Oh, found another very small bug. When I put my mouse over an icon on the side (not the main one), and move it off of it, it acts like my mouse is still over it.
edit -- Just noticed its for all the bars, notice on that pic at the bottom hotbar, it is still highlighted.

Make sure the window is expanded far enough horizontally to show the names of the spells.

Expanding the window horizontally only makes the icons appear in a row instead of in a column. Not my problem, but thanks for the suggestion.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding - my spell names appear next to my "maintained" spells, but not the buffs cast on me (including my own). Should the UI be able to do that? - looking at other screenshots it seems I may have misunderstood the spells I was looking at - perhaps they were entirely the "maintained" windows, not the buff window.

Spell names next to the buff spell icons would be great..

downloaded again and redid in new folder fixed the hotbars...no idea why i had no option but its all good.. :)

FIXED display of "health regen" label in persona window
Changed hotbars to disable the move button when you hide spinners
Added info on current selected XP display in XP window tooltips

Anyone else unable to download this UI? When I click the link to it I receive the message "You are not authorized to view this file." It was working fine from work earlier today.

I do not know everything they do to review uploads, but I would bet that at least a virus scan is performed. With a file as large as this, plus all the other files being uploaded, plus the extra server load because of a new major patch to the UI, it might be a bit.

Hmm thought I had been validated by this site before...what gives with this validation and incidentally I love profit and am very thankful everyone that has worked on it. So I guess I will wait till I get some sort of validation before I can use it again..

That means the mod is being validated ( NOT YOU :p ), for virus etc. before it gets released.

Ok.. one more question GM9... My main is a conjuror.. and I summon my pet.. but there is no pet window? Is there a shortcut key to display it? Or what?

Can't see final zero in tradeskill exp at 10, 20, 30 etc.
 
Anyone else having this issue? I remember it happening in the past but then an update corrected the problem. If my tradeskill exp is at a multiple of 10, the final zero disappears.
