Now every UI will have to be overhauled to accommodate the new patch. I expect there will be updates soon.

not true, many are not effected because they dont modify the eq2ui.xml and some arnt because the author already released an update days before. ;)

I am having long load times on "Loading Entities" would this be the problem also?

FYI, eq2ui.xml has not changed since 6/28. Anyone actually supporting their mods should have updated it long ago ;)

Well I am new to all of tihs and was affraid I might not be tech savy enough to get this installed.

But after reading the instructions and the comments here for editing the xml file it went without a problem, its looking awesome!

At first though I thought I made an error as I logged into the regular Ui, but I recalled I read somewhere about a LoadUI command..used it in game and I could select the fetish one. Looks pretty good just moved some bags bars to where I wants and I am getting a bit phobic now about all of the space I suddenly have on my screen even when all of my bags are open..nice job!

not sure why....

I haven't edited or added anything to my custom UI folder since June 29th and my eq2ui.xml file already contains these additional lines and I haven't been crashing. The problem isn't the patch the problem is authors putting a copy of their eq2ui.xml file in their custom work and users overwriting their previous version that may have been correct. Those lines were added when splitpaw was released, and was a post explaining that here somewhere.

One word of advice never overwrite any files unless you know what you are overwritng. Rename your old file, compare both files, and prevent this type of thing form happening.
