Change the hotkey parent page size a bit to suit then go somthing like 35,35 cell size on the volume page ... that should do it

Eloora... Realy it is time you started to get your hands dirty so to speak and play with the code a bit hun .. you have some neat ideas at times, And I think you should try and have a real go at it yourself.... I have full faith in you ;)

I'll see if i can figure out your suggestions. I often wanna ask for short instructions on how to make small changes myself but a lot of times modders think it's easier just to go in and do it themselves.

Oh and that's not one of my cats, just a cut picture I found on teh net :)

I seem to have found an oddity with the target window. When I have a mob or NPC that is not attackable targeted and then they become attackable the target window does not update with their con or health/power bars.



Also have you considered my request to add the right click menu (tell, inspect, etc) back to the target window? :D

Hmm, and I thought I was being clever removing the bars from npc's/harvests!

Dunno If I can fix that - actually I am sure, yes positive, that this has worked for me.

It could be something to do with not exiting the game when changing characters - evident by the fact you have green text for you HP.

As for right click on target - I never removed it - well not knowlingly, we dont have that sort of control over the windows. (not to my knowledge) and I never even knew you could right click.

I will however take a look.

Coincidentally, I also requested this at one time for Deathbane27 and his Mook Hud. :D

Yeah I miss the right click on target also. I used it exclusively to inspect PCs. I just figured it was gone via ninja patch or somethin.

I've also noticed that I can't add more than six items to a trade window any more. They must have fixed that.

I exited completely out of the eq2 client before zoning in this time (No green health text), but the target window still did not update.

hey DK i found out when mobs are not attackable to begin with then they go agro on you yes the target doesn't update but if u untarget and retarget it will update

Yeah, I realized that and I guess I'll have to live with it if there isn't a way to fix it.

mainhud.experience doesn't load with the arena UI. /show_window mainhud.experience brings up the window, but I can't figure out how to get it to load by default.

Try /con_version 0, that may fix the target issue.

you can also click on target (when you have one) to toggle between con modes.

when you enter the arena in Maj'dul like 30% of the UI disables becasue its not needed in the arena but since player health is located on the experience window it dissapears and doesn't come back up unless you manually call for it (i doubt there is anything you can do about it profit) its just hte way SoE made the arena

Highspeed.ttf and Speedline.ttf are the two font files you need to install in your fonts directory.

:) I copied the eq2ui_mainhud.xml into the Profit folder from the UI folder, and added the line <include>eq2ui_mainhud_harvest.xml</include> before the last </page>
Now the Harvest Info window works like a charm! :nana: :nana:

Hey profit

It seems the harvest button on the EQ2 button does not open the harvest info window. I have checked the zip file for 1.7c but it seems many of the files are not there. Can you help me out or possibly update the zip file for 1.7c to contain all of the updated files for the UI.

It would also be nice if the digital only clock made a come back to the profit UI.

I copied the two fonts into my windows fonts directory like shown but I still don't get the experience displaying correctly (it's using the default font). Could you make a patch for those who can't get this to work right and just use the default fonts to display the exp? I've tried everything posted in the last 7 pages and still couldn't get it to work.

You copied the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file that is used by default by EQ2 to the profit folder? Profit UI doesn't have a custom version of this file this it requires?
I am a bit lost on what you did to fix it. I would love to get the harvest window up and running again.

Also, is there an updated harvest window that includes T6?

I love the UI. Great work. Things like the writs and heritage quests being available from the quest journal are nice touches.

I do have a feature I would like to request. Specifically, I like using Milquetoast's compass with the two blips that turn red or green depending on whether the 1st and last numbers in a loc are going to increase or decrease if you move in that direction. It would be nice to add those to this UI's compass. That way I don't lose the labeling on either side of compass (target, implied target) since I'm running his instead.

chat problem or am i stupid...
 
love your ui profit, been using it anc hour or so and just getting used to it, theres just one small problem, i cant give game commands or get into chat...
ie when i tye / nothing happens.. when i type /gu the guild window pops up .. ie /g are ignored and u is activated.
any ideas....

Make sure you have frames ect enabled on your chat bar. It wont make actual frames etc, but it will allow you to type!

I've also tried everything, still it's using the default fonts, pretty annoying, other than that the interface is great!

Is there maybe another solution to the font problem?

anyone having issues with the new lotto window. I played the game last night agnd get a large black window with only what looks like a tablet in the lower left corner.

i am hoping it is something I can correct and not an issue with how profit has used windows for the UI.

You must have a custom commonelements file in the profitUI folder - just remove it.

Turn off smooth fonts and the other font option below it.

Ok I have to ask a little embarrassing question :) because I have been on vacation and haven’t followed the thread for many post now.. :(

I have a problem with the manastone window. It doesn’t say manastone ready anymore, and the manastone and horse icons are changed around?

And I have installed the fonts to windows fonts, and I don’t use smooth font or the other option in the settings in Eq2, but I still can’t read all the extra info about writs and stuff. I can read it if I turn on smooth fonts, but I don’t want to use them..

hehe its ok Wiking 1.7c Profit forgot to add the manastone.txt file in the .zip... and the horse.txt has the wrong target slot number...

just make a .txt file in your everquest II folder... lable it manastone.txt and add these codes to it

Did this work as a fix? I have scoured the whole folder (even search on my hardrive) and the only commentelements is in the default folder of my UI, I even tried deleteing the commonelements and repatching it.
