basically the stats under the pet window are coppied just above it in the target window. I cut it down to just that window... hope this helps. now is ther a patch for the full version (not laffs lite) for today's download? hehehe i keep getting crashes after todays patch. well that's wierd.. i got in on another char hmmm wierd. but the stats double would be nice to fix hehehe.

resize the window down and change the view to none as far as i can recall in the window options for that window... That will sort it

ok i'll try that, but i'm having a bit of a time with loging into the us servers... they keep crashing.... had no problems on the european servers.... any ideas anyone?

edit: i got the new one but there are problems with it. laffs you might want to look into this one, it's not working 100 percent like it should i'm missing a window using the alt pet window... =)

the pet window when you use the lower rightcorner comand location. perhaps it's just not showing up on my pally.. dunno but it's missing and all i did was get the newest version of your ui.. (which btw I LOVE)

Oks I will have a look at that pet window as I had to make a toon with a pet to test this shhh..... erm.... I mean test this "stuff" out lol

I just updated my ui today, and both my chat windows and my guild window are outlined in bright white, and the background color of my chat windows is a light gray (hard to read some things with this background). Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hello, Laffs... Like several others have commented here and on the download section also, I am having the same issue with the chat windows not matching therest of UI... I have tried reskinning the UI using the extra background colors and the chat windows and drag select boxes are all white/gray. Here is what I have now:

I too am having this problem and done all I know to fix it, maybe Laff can get a fix to us today heh =/

Sorry I made updates to those windows in the Laffs Lite UI and put them in with this UI as well forgetting that the skin name was different lol.... easy to fix will do it now...

Hi,

I just started using the Laff's Alt Peridition bottom TyeJae UI and i love it, but i think i may have done somethign wrong. Three different windows (text boxes, guild and emotes/socials arent the right color. They are showing at this pay grey with white borders, makes it very hard to read. Any idea on how to fix this?

Downloaded the latest update dated today which had your proposed fixes to the chat window problems but I still have the exact same issue with grey chat windows and white popups.

I wont include a screenshot since the view is same except for no custom background color . I stuck to your stock download colors so as not to possibly corrupt what you are uploading for use.

I made sure to delete my old version first so I was not overwriting but installing fresh. I used the optional folder files, but from looking at the file names, cant think they would cause the symptoms I am having.

I did retain my old neriak_kobara_eq2uisettings file since I did not wish to redo my chat options etc, which is a pain. To confirm it was not causing my issue I moved it temporarily and used the one you provide and same result so that file is not affecting anything with colors of windows.

Any ideas? Thankd again for the excellent support you give us users. Many authors would not be as diligent in responding to issues as you have been and I, for one,appreciate that.

Just a question, Laffs ... you make reference to the filename I have in BOLD above (taken from eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml file in todays update) yet I cannot find that file in /images folder. Is this intentional and could the omision be causing my problem?

Also, found this in the eq2ui_mainhus_socials.xml which is also affected by my problem :

Starting to think this file missing may have something to do with my problem since it appears in the .xml of each window I am having problems with.

Ok, I guess that is the problem... I simply made a copy of perdigraghics.dds, temporarily placed in another folder... renamed it to laffsskin.dds and repasted it in /images folder so it resides with perdigraphics.dds. It works now :).

good thinking Kobara, I did the same thing and it worked for me as well. Just made a copy of the perdigraphics.dds and renamed it, dumped it into my images folder, and VALLA! All fixed. Thanks again.

Yeh sorry again guys lol looks like i missed 2 lines....

Laffs Lite uses "laffsskin.dds" for the backgrounds and this UI uses "perdigraphics.dss" but both UI's share some common windows like the chat window etc.... so I just forgot to change all of the skin names after I updated the set a bit lol...

Going to fix this again and upload ;)

crafting boxes?
 

Hi,

was doing a little crafting this mornign and I noticed that the crafting windows seem to be using the defualt UI? is this an error? or should it look like that( plain brown, and not the marbled grey look of rest of interface)?

Does this UI not have a casting bar, or did I do something flaky to mine?

Casting bar sits ontop of the player window toggle alt+p if its not showing up

Backgrounds on the tradeskill windows should be set to transparent in window settings... So yeh there is no marble skin on these.

I got the pet window back the correct way, but inorder to show the pet health i have to have the frames on to show it. I still have the stats in two rows. and the second interferes with the pet information and is garbled. as per my last message. =) have you found why there are two rows of stats?
