Create items w/ Tradeskill XP and Powerbar
 
Description
This is my tradeskill UI mod. The main idea came from missing the events that popped up and missing out on the rare and ultrarare events that passed while I was crafting. This is intended tp be VERY easy to see events, mana, and Progress/durability. This file is based on the default tradeskill with no additional files and I have yet to have any crashing issues. I hope that you can turn your crafting career into a FUN & Profitable part of you EQ day. I intend to try to add later some hotkeys and effect icons but I wanted to make sure that I started with a solid crashfree UI to start with.

I beat my head against a wall, copying and pasting pieces of the default UI back into this mod to see if I could update it for Velious, but no luck.

I did a diff compare of eq2ui_tradeskills.xml from my Test folder vs. what's on Live. I did additional comparisons and copied more and more of the default back into the modded version, but I just cannot figure out what's going on here.

"The TradeSkills Tradeskills window is not compatible with the current client. Please upgrade your UI mod to a compatible version or revert to the default UI (/loadui default)."

update

I have updated this UI with two versions. 1 is the default UI (just moved and resized) and the other is Profit Reborn's version (moved and resized). I will be updating the Profit version a bit more over the next weeks for beautification.

I like the window it's great.

The only thing I miss is having the complication turning green when I successfully counter the complication.

It's not the most important thing, but sometimes I'll come across the same complication back to back and not be aware of it.

Overall it's great and something I'll be using for a while.

Great Mod, but...

I like your mod very much. There are a couple of tweaks that IMHO make it perfect.

1. I noticed the FIND function is missing from the main tradeskill page. I used this function quite often to locate the specific item I was looking for. Is it possible to add that back in?

2. The event icon should turn green/red when you successfully or unsuccessfully counter an event.

I like the big pictures and the ability to see my vitality. I did note a couple of issues with the mod itself.

1. The percentage number for the power indicator no longer shows up. Not sure if this is due to the latest LU from SOE.

2. The graphics for the window itself has a few artifacts that appear at the top of the window again possilby due to the latest LU from SOE.

3. I would love to see a just press enter ability where it would allow me to repeat the last recipe that I was doing since I tend to grind a lot of the same recipes to produce the massive amounts of furniture that I will need for my happy home.

The easiest thing I would recommend is downloading the EQ2 Map from the team projects section and installing that then adding your other UI mods to the EverQuest II\UI\EQ2Maps directory. then you get the best mod + whatever you add.

install help plz?

First time ive used a new ui or even ui piece with eq2, not so clear on where to put a file like this or make it work.... a bit of help would be appriciated

I TS during my favorite programs hence the need to be able to see what events are popping up (missing events as an armorer is deadly)
