Description

This is actually an updated version of Centhena's Tradeskill Mod, one of the first ever made. I just really, really missed having that Search function, especially when trying to find what item I needed to craft for a Rush Order writ. So, I made my first attempt at fairly large alterations to a UI mod, and there it is!

There are two versions included: No Default Buttons, which functions just like the standard tradeskills UI - the only difference is the compact layout; and Just Press Enter, which makes the Begin, Stop, and Repeat buttons respond to the Enter button on your keyboard. Install whichever version you prefer to your custom UI folder.

Oh, and ignore the Henchman.xml file - it's there to work with Landlin's EQ2 Henchman program. If you don't download with Henchman, it won't do anything - though it also won't hurt anything.

Huge thanks to Centhena for making the original UI, and Milquetowst for the keyboard-responsive tradeskill window functions.

If you're using one with a separate repeat and stop button, that's my old UI, not the GU 40 compatible one. I double-checked both versions of the GU 40 compatible one last night.

In the current zip file, there are two folders, each has a different version of the tradeskill UI. Just-press-enter is set so you can auto-trigger the "begin," "stop," or "repeat" buttons by pressing enter - they're each flagged as the default button when they show. Since only one shows at any given time, there's no conflict. In the No-default-button version, none of the buttons in the UI are triggered by hitting enter.

Pick whichever version you want and put that one in your custom UI folder. It should be directly in the custom UI folder, not in a subfolder. Sorry if that wasn't clear in the file types - my fault for not including a ReadMe with instructions.

after todays update i tryed to craft and got a warning about your ui mod nolonger being supported and to load the default ui.

Im using the one with the repeat button and stop seperate. EQ2 wil crash every time i try and close my crafting window, and since repeat never works i have to put every thing i want to craft on my hot bar so i can click it and press enter to start.

The crafting ui was a universal change u can use the new soe crafting ui without haveing the expansion, so u can prob test this out without the expansion.

Also your repeat button doesn;t work in this mod.

I have been somehow bugging the window and i will be crafting while im in the recipe filter section, so i cant see my progress or reactions i need to hit.</blockquote>

Strange - I had this working fine in Beta, thoroughly tested it to make sure. Sadly, my preordered copy of RoK hasn't arrived yet, so now I can't test it in RoK itself. I do know it's working fine without RoK though.

Which version are you using, the just-press-enter or the no-default? Technically I didn't test the second one with RoK, but that was a minor change and it shouldn't be causing crashes as far as I know. Is this happening with all types of crafting or only certain tradeskills?

I'm sure there's probably a way to make it resizeable - unfortunately, I don't know what that is.

The no-default-buttons version works just the same as the usual tradeskill window, while with the just-press-enter one, the "begin," "stop," and "repeat" buttons are set as defaults - pressing enter on your keyboard triggers whichever one of those is showing. Hope that helps!
