Description
Please see the ReadMe.txt file included in the zip for install instructions. FetishPieces.doc contains additional info, including instructions for setting various window states as default.

Please only post comments to this thread. Technical issues and other questions should be posted here.



New in this version
LU20 Compatable.
  • Use buttons now stealth on mouse out.

Cumulative List of Changes
Inventory: has been streamlined. Now shows character name. 2 buttons were added for showing/hiding character stats and XP bars. Help button tooltip now displays a list of rares for each tier. Title bar has been removed and window controls moved to the bottom. Added Zoom(.Z) and Collapse(V) buttons. Zoom toggles the window size between 100% and 75% scale. When shrunk, the window is moved to the FetishDock location (the screen's lower right corner by default). Collapse hides/shows the upper portion of the window (everything above the Primary/secondary slots) and locks the window in place. The Dock(D) button opens and closes the FetishDock window. Added BagStrip (B) button, which opens the custom BagStrip window. Stats now include a ShadowStyle for increased readability. Each equipment slot includes a “Use” button for quick activation of right-click effects. Window ignores ESC.

BagStrip: New BagStrip window added. Displays all bag slots, ammo and overflow for convenient viewing and opening. Window scales to 75% and collapses to show just ammo. Ignores ESC. Note: This window uses MainHUD.Inventory and is likely to be incompatible with most other “Mini-inventory” and “Ammo window” mods.
WARNING: Attempting to drop items onto any of these slots will crash EQ2! Just don’t do it.

BagStrip requires an include be added to eq2ui_mainhud.xml.

update for food and drink slots

any ETA for update to incorporate the added food/drink slots?
Yours is the best inventory mod and I am going to live with not being able to see my food and drink until this mod gets fixed.

The system for posting problems with UI pieces is confusing. I'm no forum amateur, but I have trouble figuring out what the heck the appropriate place is to post. It really should be in the actual thread about the mod, not in another thread linked by it. That would be more intuitive and less likely to be overlooked.

And, looking at my distribution, I see the inventory_inventory file was in fact included. I have no idea how it didn't make it into my UI folder. As for the others - well, I did it all at the same time, I wasn't sure what fixed it. But it's working, that's all I'm concerned about.

You'd get more responses if you posted in the thread hotlinked up at the top of the author's post. I found the solution myself - I dumped all the files from the map mod that were referenced in my UI folder, and also eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml, which somehow is not part of the Fetish Inventory distribution, yet required for the dock to work.

The dock in Version 5.0 doesn't work. ui.log lists some failed dependancies, and some other issues (none of which seem to be causing a huge problem):

Couldn't load eq2ui_listboxrow_template2.xml

Any ideas for a workaround that doesn't involve installing the entire Fetish UI? It looks like it's missing some files that are in the map package. If I can just plop them where this mod can see tehm without actually installing the map mod, that would be ideal.

using another UI

hi I am using THorUI and I cant figure out how to get this inventory mod to work with thor? Can you please explain how I would go about this?

i was refered to this thread from the ThorUI thread

found one thing while Tradskilling that is driving me insane....
when you click into your componant window and dont have the ingreidiants needed and cancel out it sends you back to the top of the list and you have to scroll all the way back down.there is also no way to scroll down unless you click in the window on a recipe.

Im having the same problem. I LOVE this ui ( its great for keeping an eye on ammo ) and am reluctantly playing with out it for the time being. Hope to see a fix realativly soon.

After LU12 this causes EQ2 to crash.

Sounds like you don't have the bagstrip file properly included. You either need to install the copy of eq2ui_mainhud.xml I provided, or insert the Include code to your version.

Also note the stated incompatability with other mods using MainHUD.Inventory.

Lastly, please use the support link for technical questions in the future. Posts to a download page probably wont be seen for DAYS, if not longer.

Other than hosing the slot entirely, there's nothing I can do that would affect 1 bag and not all bags. Try this...

Thumbs Up bag not opening

Can't open the bag in slot nubber 4, either that, or it opens far enough off screen, i can't see it. I did try turning off the windows off scrren, but that didn't seem to help, any ideas? Other than thet, nice mod.
